    Hi,
I have been out of roller hockey for 12 years,I owned a pair of mission skates back then and I do not remember the U.S shoe size to skate size being so off. I were 10 1/2 size shoes and it is saying I should be getting a size 9 skate!!!!!! According to the mission sizing chart. That does not sound right. Please confirm this as I would like to purchase ASAP!!!!!

    Thank You

      Jon,

I know it seems crazy that you would need a smaller skate than your regular shoe size. It is pretty common that skates sizes are smaller. Sizes are unique to every manufacturer. Follow the size chart for the manufacturer of the skates you are interested in.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

      Thank you,

      Heather Raby

    What’s the difference of EE and D size? I’m 13 US (31cm)

    • Dru says:

      Hey Mike,

While actual width will depend on the model and brand of skate, as well as size, the actual difference between each size of skate boot width is 3/16 of an inch. So the difference in width between a D and a EE is going to be 6/16 of an inch. At a size 13.0 shoe size, you will want a Mission brand skate in a size 11.5 D, unless you have a wider foot. In that case you would want to go with either a E or EE model, depending on how wide your foot actually is. I hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru
