  1. zorbapanos says:

    Hi,
I’d like to purchase a k2 radical pro 2011 from France. I usually wear a EUR SIZE 41. My feet is 25 cm long. Which US size do i choose for this K2 ? sorry for my approximative english ;-)
    Thanks.

    • Dru says:

      Hey zorbapanos,

For a EU shoe size of 41 you would want to go with a US shoe size of 8.0. If you have a wider foot, you would want to go with a size 8.5 in a K2 skate, as they tend to run a bit narrow. Hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru

  2. cindy says:

im 8 1/2- 9 in us shoe size what k2 size is recommended..?…im 9 inch long and 3 1/2 wide

    • Brandon says:

      Cindy,

K2 recommends buying direct to your US shoe size. As all skates will pack out about a ¼ to ½ size after break in, I would suggest going with an 8.5, they might be a little snug at first but after the break in process they should feel great!

  3. Scott says:

My feet are a size 10 UK
What size is recommended for when I buy any type of recreational skate? (not just k2)

    • Brandon says:

      Hello Scott,

I would recommend a size 11.0 for recreational skates, if you do have a wider foot you may need to size up a half size to help accommodate for the extra width. Please let us know if you have any further questions by emailing sales@inlineskates.net.

  4. saul says:

I wear a size 10 to 10.5 US size Nike what size would i be? just a 10 or 10.5?

    • Dru says:

      Hey Saul,

If you wear between a 10.0 and a 10.5 in your running shoe, I would stick to a size 10.5 K2 skate. All K2 skates tend to run a bit narrow when compared to other inline skate brands and can cause discomfort for people who either have wider feet or size their skates/shoes down a half size. Stick to the 10.5 (or an 11.0 if you have a wide foot) and you should be set!

      Regards,
      Dru

  5. Vanessa says:

Hi, my shoe size is US = W8 and UK = 5.5 .What would be the ideal skate size for me? Thanks!

  6. noah says:

My shoe size is 14.  I'm having difficulty finding a skate to fit me.  I see you have two options, I am considering the k2.  Will I be ok in a size 14 rollerblade or do I need to worry that it could be too small?

    Noah

    • Dru says:

      Hey Noah,

Actually, for bigger feet, the Rollerblade brand will more likely be your better option. They design skates for bigger/wider feet and tend to be more comfortable at sizes like 14.0. K2 does manufacture skates in a size 14.0, however due to the way the skates run narrow, they do tend to fit almost a half size smaller on most people. If you have a narrower foot, then the K2 brand will fit you fine in a size 14.0. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend something in the Rollerblade brand instead. Hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Andru

  7. Janene says:

Please advise chirldrens size in NZ size is a 1. Can you please advise the us size I would be looking at for the adjustable 1-4 childs size .
    Thanks

    • Dru says:

      Hey Janene,

I did some research and if your kid has a NZ/AU shoe size of 1, in a US kids shoe size this should come out to roughly a size 1.5/2. In this case, you would want to get the adjustable kids skate in the adjustable 1 to 4 size, so that they can get the maximum usage out of their skates. Hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru

  8. Alice Williams says:

Hi just wanted to confirm sizing, my daughter is 11 and wears a girls youth size 4 and her foot is a bit narrow so I should order the K2 skate in size 4-8, she has skated but is a beginner also this package comes with pads.

Thanks in advance for your time.

    • rsornson says:

Hey Alice! If your daughter is currently wearing a size 4.0 the K2 Skate in an adjustable 4-8 will work great for her and she will also have room to grow since it is an adjustable skate! If you have any further questions please feel free to ask!

      Rebecca

    • Dru says:

      Hey Alice,

Yes the adjustable K2 skates will be perfect for her! The adjustable skates fit true to shoe size and should cover her for a good while (unless she grows three shoes sizes over the winter season!). Hope this helps!

      Regards,

      Dru

  9. shannon says:

i wear a 12 but it fits me very loose and plus i have wide feet should i get a 11.5 or 11

  10. Laurel says:

I am a size 6 1/2 – 7 but have super narrow feet. The skate i want, only has sizes 6 or 7 ? what would be my best size to get?

    • kbodden says:

      Hi Laurel,

Which skate in particular are you looking at? Knowing that will allow to help make an informed suggestion. Generally speaking, though, I’d say your best bet would be to choose a skate you can get in a 6.5. If your feet are crammed at the toe box, you won’t have as much fun, but too much room through the boot isn’t good either. Something similar to a K2 skate with the Boa System would allow you to really dial in the snugness of the boot, so I’d recommend looking into that. I hope this helps!

      Best,

      Kate

  11. Sue says:

This skating stuff is so new to me. My daughter is 19 and has been rollerblading since she was around 8. She’s does wonderful, but would like to move her to a more advanced skate. If her size is a US Woman 9.5, what size skate should I get her? Trying to keep this a surprise for Christmas for her. Thanks much! Sue

    • kbodden says:

      Hi Sue,

Sounds like a great Christmas gift! In recreational inline skates, sizing tends to be true to shoe size, so I’d stick with the 9.5. One of the coolest things K2 offers is the Boa system, as seen on the Celena 90. It’s a cable lacing system that uses a knob to create comfortable, consistent snugness across the boot and allows the skates to effortlessly adapt to the shape of each wearer’s foot. This is nice because it quickly and easily helps improve the fit of the skate, making for a more comfortable and secure experience. I hope this helps!

      Best,

      Kate

  12. David Cuberos says:

Hi. I want to buy a skates for a girl lika a gift. Her father told me she is EU 26 size, but I do not know what is the equivalence in skate size. Can you helpme, please?.

    • Chris Gorski says:

      David,

The equivalent to a EU 26 is a US youth size 8.5

If she is indeed in a youth size 8.5 she is most likely very young and just a beginner skater. I would suggest something that offers some growing room and will be easy to learn on. We offer a Chicago skate currently that is adjustable from a youth 10-13 and comes complete with pads, helmet and a carrying bag. The starting size of 10 may seem a bit large for a 8.5 but the skates offer a good amount of padding and support so this will not be an issue. In this skate you can also set it up similar to training wheels on a bike which can make it much easier to learn on if she is indeed a beginner skater.

      Thanks,

      Chris

  13. drew says:

I used to skate at a younger age, and am looking to get back into it. I am experienced and am a fan of the K2 brand. I was looking towards the K2 Varsity, but am unaware of the sizes now that I older. I wear Vans shoes everyday and sport a 9-9.5. So what size skate should I go with? Thanks

    • Thom P says:

      Drew,

If you were looking for an aggressive skate, specifically the Varsity, and wear a size 9/9.5 I would go for the 9.0. It should give you perfect length after it breaks in a touch and should be more than wide enough.

  14. Jade Villnow says:

Hi there I am looking to get back into skating and I am trying to figure out what the right size would be for me. I wear a 61/2 size shoe and I want make sure I get the right size since I’ll be ordering them off line. Thanks for your time a little help would be awesome.

    • Lisa says:

      Hello,

Typically I would recommend sticking with your traditional shoe size (6.5). If you have a wider foot you may want to go up to the next whole size, this will give you the bit of extra space to make sure the skates are comfortable. The only skates that we suggest going up in size are Roces brand skates as they tend to run small. With these we recommend getting one size up from your shoe size.

      Thank You,
      Lisa Fraser

  15. bill says:

    i wear a 11 b shoe men’s.
i want a comfortable skate. am usually on a bike trail .
    suggestions?
    thank you

    • Lisa says:

      Hello,

There are a couple of different options that are available right now depending on what you are looking for. If you like a lot of speed and are looking for a faster skates that is great for longer distances, the Rollerblade Crossfire 100 or the K2 Mach 100 Customer Fit may be the skate for you. Both of these have 100mm wheels which lend a lot of speed to these skates while still giving you great ankle support and a comfortable boot. Keep in mind that these will be slower to stop and not make exceptionally fast turns due to the larger wheels and longer frames. If you are looking for something a bit more on the recreational side, the Rollerblade Spark 84 or the K2 Fit 84 may be a bit more up your alley. With an 84mm wheel, both these skates have great maneuverability and, while they do have a lower top speed than the 100mm skates, can still get a good amount of speed when you really want to go. Both also have the comfortable soft-boot style that makes skating for hours fun. I would suggest sticking with a size 11.0 in skates based on the shoe size that you provided.

  16. Jess says:

    Hi folks,

I’m sorry, I know a lot of people ask questions about size, but, I had a botched foot surgery on my feet years ago that really been causing me problems now, so I’m particularly concerned about the fit. I was a 6.5/7 but have moved to mostly 7 1/2 to accommodate for the pain of seismoiditis (damage to small bones underneath the ball of the foot). But, all I can find, anywhere, of the only ones I want (White with black, K2 Electra Custom Fit Womens Inline Skates 2011), is a 7 or an 8. My feet aren’t wide, but I’m thinking, maybe if I got an 8 and put an insert in? But 7.5 is already just a hair big in general. So how snug are the around? I’m guessing that would work since it sounds like they are pretty true to size so a 7 is out. I certainly don’t want them too loose so that my foot is sliding around, I’m not that coordinated to begin with :) (kidding, I’m an avid skater). And would an insert take away from what the blade has to offer?

Or, can you tell me where I can get a 7.5 for a reasonable price (as I actually found ONE 7.5, and that at Sears for $317, where all the other are prices around $150/$200)?

Sorry for the long winded question! Thank you…

    • Lisa says:

      Hello,

First off, I’m very sorry to hear about the botched surgery. We also only have the 7.0 or 8.0 in these skates. K2 as a brand tends to run a touch narrow. In light of this, the 8 may end up being just a touch big. Keep in mind that with a skate that is too large, it can cause blisters from the skates rubbing. In terms of putting inserts in the skates, that may help you take up some of the added room in the skates, but you will need to be careful to get an insert that fits snugly in the inside of the skates to prevent it from moving around and affecting your stability in the sktaes. I hope that I was able to help you decide. Please let us know if we can do anything else for you.

      Thank You,
      Lisa Fraser

  17. Jay says:

    Hi
I started skating again after a long time and am looking to purchase inline skates but I don’t know what size would be the best. I’m looking at the K2 Moto 84 Men’s Inline Skates and I’m a size US 10.5 in shoes. What would be the skate size relevant to my shoe size?
    Thanks

    • Lisa says:

      Hello,
For the K2 Moto 84 skates it would be best to go to the size 11.0. These skates tend to run slightly narrow and the added space the 11.0 would give you would go a ways to making them a more comfortable skate.

      Thanks,
      Lisa

  18. Mason says:

Hey, I wear a size 8 in adidas and a size 8 in vans. What size K2 beginners skate should I get?

P.S I was also wondering the difference between an aggressive style type and the freestyle type?

    • kbodden says:

      Hi Mason,

I would suggest sticking with an 8 in a K2. With dedicated aggressive inline skates, you get space to grind, as well as smaller wheels and a heavier duty frame. In a more freestyle skate, you get a hybrid between a recreational inline and an aggressive inline, so you often get a boot that has a plastic hard frame, as well as sturdier frame. I hope this helps!

      Best,

      Kate

  19. Dominic says:

Hi, I wear size 11.5 nikes so which K2 fit would you recommend for me?
    Thanks
    Dominic

I forgot to mention that I am looking at the K2 Fit 84′s.

    • kbodden says:

      Hi Dominic,

I would recommend sticking with the 11.5, unless you’ve got a wider foot, in which case you might benefit from going into the 12. I hope this helps!

      Best,

      Kate

  20. Jeffrey says:

    Hey I wear running shoes size 10.5US , I’m looking to buy the K2 F.I.T 78, which size should I get ?
    Thanks

    • kbodden says:

      Hi Jeffrey,

These skates tend to run true to shoe size, so I would recommend sticking with a 10.5. I hope this helps!

      Best,

      Kate

  21. Tyson says:

I wam looking at the K@ alexis womens inline skates 2011 for my daughter she currently wears a ladies size 8.5. The site does not have 1/2 sizes for this skate, would you suggest going with the size 8 or the size 9? Your help is appreciated.

    • kbodden says:

      Hi Tyson,

The Alexis is a great skate – comfortable, durable, and a lot of fun! They’ve got plenty of support, and if your daughter is a true 8.5, I would recommend going with the 9, as she shouldn’t have a problem getting enough snugness. I hope this helps!

      Best,

      Kate

  22. Samson Adepoju (@TheOstrichRace) says:

K2 Fatty Pros all black 2000 edition

Hi, I’ve been fitted for sneakers and I’m a size 12.5 wide. Would 12 be the size to go for rather than 13? How much do they really break in? There’s quite a bit of plastic protection on the toe cap and all around being aggressive. If they do break in well, I hope it’s fast.

    Thanks,
    Samson

    • Dru says:

      Hey Samson,

At a 12.5 wide, you will most likely want to go with either a 12.5 or a 13.0 in your skate, depending on how snug you want the skate to remain once it does break in. K2 skates have a tendency to run on the narrow side, especially the older models. Due to this I usually recommend bumping up a half size in your K2 skate. As the Fatty Pro is not your typical aggressive skate in that it is actually a Softboot with reinforcement, it will break in quicker than a boot with a hard shell. They will pack in after extended use though, as all skates do. My recommendation will be to stay true to your shoe size for the Fatty Pro, as this should still fit comfortably but snug, even after the liners have broken in for you. I hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru

  23. francisco says:

    Hello
I want to buy some K2 Mach 100′s. My size in shoes is 10 US and 11 US in tennis shoes. Which is the size recommended for these skates?

    • Dru says:

      Hey Francisco,

With K2 skates you want to stick as true to your tennis shoe size as possible. If you wear a size 11.0 in your tennis shoe I would recommend going with the size 11.0 in the Mach 100 or a size 11.5 if you have a wider foot. I hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru

  24. Kush says:

Hey I wear running shoes size 10.5-11 US and I’m looking to buy the K2 Moto 84, which size should I get? I don’t see half sizes so it’s between the 10 or the 11. Thanks

    • Dru says:

      Hey Kush,

Typically in a K2 brand skate, you want to go as true to your shoe size as possible. Since K2′s tend to run a bit more on the snug and narrow side, if you have a wider foot or are between size I usually recommend bumping up a half size. In this case, I think the size 11.0 should give you the best fit possible in the Moto 84. I hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru

  25. Mike says:

I generally wear either 8.5 or 9 mens Us. I am debating between the K2 Fit 84 or K2 Moto 84. Is there really a big difference between the two? Would you suggest sticking with the 8.5 or the 9?

    Thanks!

    • Dru says:

      Hey Mike,

Actually, the FIT 84 is just K2′s new version of the Moto 84′s. Other than the graphic difference, the two skates will fit and feel identical. When you in between sizes or have a wider foot, I typically recommend bumping up a half size as K2 as a brand tends to run a bit on the narrow/snug size. If you are between an 8.5 and 9.0, I would recommend going with the size 9.0 for optimal fit. That way they should be comfortable but won’t be so big that they break in a full size and become too loose. I hope this helps!

      Regards,

      Dru

  26. Valeria says:

Hi. First of all sorry for my English. I’m interested in the K2 Alexis Fitness 2012. I’ve always had problems with my shoe size. I’m always between 7 (being a little tight) and 7.5 (being a little loose). Which size should I order in inline skates? I have narrow feet but they tend to bloat a little when I exercise. And I will use the WrightSock Anti Blister Double Layer Coolmesh sock. Thank you so much for your help! :)

    • Dru says:

      Hey Valeria,

For the Alexis I would recommend going with the size 7.5. The Alexis’ (which will fit a bit on the narrow and snug side to begin with) tend to fit very true to shoe size besides being a bit snug. If your feet tend to swell a bit while skating, as well as wearing a skate sock, I think a 7.5 should give you ample room to fit while not being too big on your feet. I hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru

  27. Tracey says:

I am interested in the K2 Andra Womens Inline skates. I wear a women’s US 6 but can wear a youth 4. Is the size 4 comparable to the youth 4?

    • Dru says:

      Hey Tracey,

As the Andra is sized in womens sizes, you would want to stick as true to your actual shoe size as possible. If you wear a US womens size 6.0, then you would want to get a size 6.0 in the Andra. I hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru
