My 6 year old girls is 13 us shoe size, what is the right skate size, I want them adjustable and that she can wear them for a while (so I prefer they run a little bit big)

    • Heather says:

      Dear Lina,

My suggestion would be to get a skate size 11-2 or 1-5. The 11-2 she would start wearing at size 13 and be able to use until she is in a 2. If you don’t mind if they are a little big to start so she can wear them even longer, get a skate that starts at size 1. The K2 Annika Jr Pack is a great skate! My daughter has these and loves them! The pack also includes pads. The Rollerblade Spitfire is a good skate also but the sizes run 11-1 and 2-5. She wouldn’t get much use out the the 11-2 and the 2-5 would be too big to start at. She would get terrible blisters.

      I hope this helps!

I wd like to buy a good, certified inline skate for my 8 year old son. his shoe size is 2(India).
pl suggest good one and how to make payment to you for one pair.

    • Dru says:

      Hey Pon,

For an Indian shoe size 2.0, you will want to go with a skate in the US size 3.5. A great skate for your son would be the Rollerblade Spitfire TW. They are a great pair of skates for someone who is learning to skate and wants to have skates that will grow with them as these skates can actually be adjusted to accommodate a bigger foot size as he grows. As far as payment goes, it will depend on where you are trying to have the skates shipped to. If you are having them shipped inside the US you will need to call in to place the order with a card or you can use PayPal or Amazon Checkout through our website. If you are trying to have them shipped over to India, you will need to contact our international shipping partners at International Checkout to set the order up. You can reach them here. Hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru

Hello, i would like to by the Rollerblade Twister 80 Womens Urban Inline Skates 2011. My shoe size (European) is 41. Shall i take once size bigger ?

    • Brandon says:

      Hello Noa,

If you are a European size 41 shoe you should get a womens size 9.5 size skate for the Twister 80 W. It appears that we have one pair left in that size, you can find it at the following link:

      Twister 80 W

Please email us at sales@inlineskates.net if you have any further questions, have a nice day!

  4. ART says:

      Dear Art,

For Rollerblade brand skates, your shoe size is the correct size for skates also. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

      Heather

  5. shawn says:

my us men shoe size is 8 , so what is my size for skates.is it 8?

  6. Isis says:

Is the Fusion X5 urban inline skate sized in european or american men sizes? so would the 6.5 be a nine in womens or a 7.5 in womens?

    • Dru says:

      Hey Isis,

For the Rollerblade Fusion series, the size you see listed on the website will be in US mens shoe size. A size 6.5 in mens should come out to approximately a 7.5 US womens. Hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru

  7. lalo says:

I want to buy some good sakates for my son, he is 5 years old and use size 9 .
what size do i have to order for him in skates (ajustable)

I need some skates for me too, I use 9.5 make recomendations please

    • Dru says:

      Hey Lalo,

For your son, you will most likely want to look at an adjustable skate that starts at either a size 10 or 11. Most adjustable skates start out at one of those two sizes and expand between three and five sizes larger. I think an adjustable size 11 to 1 or 2 will work best. Take a look at both the K2 Sk8 Hero and the Rollerblade Spitfire TW, as they are two of the best kids models out there with a full range of adjustable sizes on them. For you, since you wear a shoe size of 9.5 you will want to look for a womens skate in a size 9.5 as well (look for a 10.0 if you have wider feet). If we are looking for just a recreational skate to use for you I would recommend either the K2 Alexis or the Rollerblade Spark 80 or 84. They both are good quality recreational skates and will allow you to have fun skating with your son but will also allow you to go out and be able to get a good workout in, should you so choose. Hope this helps!

      Regards,

      Dru

  8. Alejandra A says:

Please could you help me with my skate size?
My foot measures 22 cm . I’m size 37 and my nike and sketchers sneakers are size US 7.5 should I get the same size in skates or a little bigger.?

I want to buiy my skates right away but have no idea if the will fit since if I make the convertion from 36-37 to US women szie is like 5 o 6 and my sneakers differ.

    could you help me?

    • kbodden says:

      Hi Alejandra,

I would absolutely recommend going with your US shoe size. Skates of this nature tend to fit very true to shoe size, so if you’re comfortable in a 7.5 in sneakers, go with that in rollerblades. I hope this helps!

      Best,

      Kate

  9. John P says:

Hi, My 5 year old daughter wears size 7 girls shoes. What size do you recommend? Thanks!

    • Chris Gorski says:

      John,

Rollerblade skates run the same as standard shoe size. Your daughter would take the same size as her standard shoe size so a size 7 girls sounds accurate.

      Thanks,

      Chris

  10. Nick says:

hey there! ok so im looking at the rollerblade twister 80′s but a little confused on sizing. for the MOST part i wear a US men 12 shoe, rarely 12.5- 13 all depending on the brand. i think it varies like that because i am flat foot maybe? either way i want to make sure they fit properly so a little confused if i should go with the 12 or the 12.5? do they loosen a little as time goes? any help is appreciated

    • Chris Gorski says:

      Nick,

Yes, Rollerblade skates and all skates loosen up and break in with due time. That said, it’s advised to take a Rollerblade skate the same size as your standard shoe size. In your case since you for the MOST part wear a size 12 shoe I would recommend going with this size in a Rollerblade skate. A proper fit when you first put the skates on would be your toes just barely touching the front of the skate but not curled, this gives a snug fit at first but will give you a proper fit once broken in. Hope this helps!
      Thanks,

      Chris

  11. Cynthia says:

Hi, Can you assist me in purchasing a pair of inline skates? One of my feet are size 8 and the other 8.5. Also, I’m completely flat footed so when I put on skates that part of my foot cramps up, in addition to that I over-pronate. I would love to inline skate but these problems plague me. Can you suggest a the skate size and the type of skate I should purchase that would alleviate my problems while skating? Thank you.

    • Chris Gorski says:

      Cynthia,

Unfortunately you cannot purchase two different sized skates in a pair so I would recommend going with the larger size, the 8.5, as this will fit both. If you have had over-pronation issues for some time you are probably familiar with orthotic footbeds which is what you can add to your skates as well. A good orthotic footbed will add a high arch for extra support, deep heel cup for ankle stability and a metatarsal raise to relieve any ball of foot pain. Purchasing a nice set of footbeds will alleviate these issues and give you a great fit in an inline skate.

I would suggest a skate in the recreation category as these will offer a secure and stable fit while still being a bit more comfortable offering a cross trainer type fit.

      Thanks,

      Chris

  12. Eduardo Noyer says:

Hi!, i’m looking for the rollerblade fusion 84 GM 2012 for men .. and i wanna know what size i need… my "european" feet size is 39 .. i live in Chile (South America) .. could you help me to choose the correct size?
    Thanks in advance!

    • Chris Gorski says:

      Eduardo,

Let us first correlate your European size to a US size as these Rollerblade skates are sized in standard US sizing. A 39 European size will translate to a size 6.5 to 7; which depending on your personal fit preference you could go with either size. Inline skates will break in roughly a half size from how they fit initially meaning the way they fit when you first try them may seem a bit tight; a good fit for when you first try them on is your toes just brushing the front of the boots as long as your toes are not crushed or curling in the boot. My suggestion is to possibly measure your foot with a tape measure and compare those measurements against the charts. You can always error on the larger size (7) and if they end up being a bit too large you can add extra padding to the skate to make up for this.

      Thanks,
      Chris

  13. Brent says:

hello, i wear a size 10 in us size shoe, can i wear an 9.5 in skates (speed quads)

    • Thom P says:

      Brent,

It is pretty common for people to size down slightly for a performance fit in skates, especially speed skates. As long as the skate is the correct width for your foot dropping a half size will not only work but should offer you a bit of additional control.

  14. DD says:

I read the comments above, it seems that Rollerblade skates run true to size. However the sizes options to buy this model of Rollerblade Sparks 80 only come in whole size and no half size option to choose from.
    My shoe size is 7.5.

    • Chris Gorski says:

      DD,

I always drop a 1/2 size in my skates personally to get a tighter more performance oriented fit, If you have a pretty standard foot (not wide) going down a 1/2 size will work just fine for you. If you have a wider foot than going up a 1/2 size will give you more room for the additional width and to add some more padding.

Skates will fit tight right out of the box, when you get the skates try them on indoors before skating and see how the fit works out. When you first put the skates on your toes may come right to the front of the boot, bend your knees and get in a skating position and your toes should come off the front of the boot comfortably. A good fit is a tight fit as long as your toes are not curled or crunched.

      Thanks,

      Chris

  15. steve says:

am looking at the Rollerblade RB XL Inline Skates 2012.
I measure size 15 US mens but wondered if I should order the 16.
Do you know if these run true to size?
    Thanks
    Steve

    • Courtney says:

      Hey Steve,

Yes, the Rollerblade brand does run true to shoe size. For a proper fit you will want your toes just barely touching the front of the toe box, not curled or crunched but comfortably to the front. This will ensure a proper fit once the skate breaks in and the padding settles putting the ankle perfectly in place.

      I hope this helps!

  16. Anais says:

Hello, I am planning to buy the Rollerblade Spark 80 Womens Inline Skates 2011, but I am size 8 US and my mondopoint is 25cm, is the 9.5 size ok for me (its also the smallest size avalaible)? I am concerned they might be too big… Thanks in advance.
    Anais

    • Chris Gorski says:

      Anais,

No, I would not recommend the size 9.5 if your standard shoe size us a size 8. Inline skates are going to fit relatively the same as your standard athletic shoe so if you wear an 8 in a shoe we would recommend a size 8 in the skates.

Unfortunately we don’t have the sale Spark 80 from last season in your size but we do stock the current year version in a size 8 and it’s only $30 more which is not too much more to pay to get the right size.

      Thanks,

      Chris

  17. zachary says:

My son is 12 and is looking to buy inline rollerblades. His current shoe size is a mens 7. I don’t want to spend money every year. Can I get him a size 8 mens.

    • kbodden says:

      Hi Zachary,

With your son’s age, I’m guessing he’s growing a lot and quickly, so it shouldn’t be any problem to go with an 8. He’ll be able to adjust the laces to make them a bit snugger if he needs to, and unless he’s going to be doing long-distance fitness skates, I don’t think he’ll be bothered by having a little extra room. I hope this helps!

      Best,

      Kate

  18. Britt says:

I want to buy these skates i wear about a 9 and a half to 10 but i have wide feet which size would be a good size for me?

    • Dru says:

      Hey Britt,

My recommendation for anyone with wider feet is to look at the Rollerblade brand. The brand in general tends to fit people with wider feet better than other brands such as K2 (they have a tendency to fit on the narrow side even). If you are between a 9.5 and 10.0 you could potentially go in either direction with your skates, depending on how you like to wear your shoes and skates (snug to foot or a bit of room). I would personally recommend going with the size 9.5 in a Rollerblade brand skate, as this should provide a comfortable but snug fit and should provide you with the best skating experience. I hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru

  19. Ruslan says:

Hello! I have a foot length of 32 centimeters, tell me please what size to buy skates Rollerblade RB XL 2012. Thanks in advance for the advice, Ruslan.

  20. Rodrigo says:

Hi! :) I wear men shoes sized US 13 (currently wearing Adidas Samba) , should my Inline skates we size 13? I’ve heard that one should use skates a liitle bigger than the shoes, is that true? thanks a lot! :)

    • Kate Bodden says:

      Hi Rodrigo,

I would recommend ordering a size 13 in a Rollerblade inline skate, unless your feet are narrow, in which case I might suggest a 12.5. As always, our Guaranteed Fit Program is a great way to find your perfect fit, so if you’re unsure, I definitely suggest trying a few sizes. I hope this helps!

      Best,

      Kate

  21. Jonas says:

Hi! I’m planning to buy me a pair of the Rollerblade XL inline skates. My foot measures 32 cm and I’m a bit unsure whether to buy size us 15 or 16. I normally wear us 15 in sneakers or size 50 in European. Your sizing chart says that size 15 corresponds to size 49. What size should I order??

    Best regards

    Jonas

    • Dru says:

      Hey Jonas,

In this case you will want to go with the size 16.0. This should fit approximately a size 49 to 50 EU and should accommodate a foot length of 31.8cm to 32.1cm, putting you just inside range you are looking for. As Rollerblades tend to run a bit big in the first place, this should fit you snug and should provide a comfortable as well as secure fit. Hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru

  22. max says:

hi i turned twelve not long ago and researching which roller skates to buy, im not quite sure what size foot i am but round about UK 5 or 6, is it a good idea to buy a small mens size?

    • Dru says:

      Hey Max,

I would say at the size you are currently at, you are definitely looking at a mens skate. You could potentially go with one of the biggest sizes of the adjustable kids skates but the issue there is that it will only fit you for about a season as you are already at the upper sizing ranges for most of them. At your current shoe size (depending on whether you are closer to a size 5 or 6 UK) I would recommend going with 6.0 or 7.0 in a Rollerblade brand skate. I would be happy to make some recommendations for you, if you would like. Just let me know!

      Regards,
      Dru

  23. Dawn Keagle says:

One of my son’s foot measures 8 1/4 inches, and the other 8 3/4 inches what would be the proper rollerblade size. We are interested in the bladerunner hockey skates and the all black rollerblade dynamo. Your help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    • Dru says:

      Hey Dawn,

If your son has two differently sized feet, you will want to size your skates for the bigger of the two feet. At the sizing of his bigger foot he would be looking at a size four in a Bladerunner/Rollerblade model skate. For the Dynamo, I would suggest going for the size four to seven to give him the most adjustable room to grow into the skate and give him the most usage out of them. He can always wear an extra sock to take up extra room in the smaller foot until he can grow into the bigger sized skates. I hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru

  24. Felipe says:

    Hi!
I’m planning to buy me a pair of the RB Fusion X3. My foot measures 28 cm and I’m a bit unsure whether to buy size us 10.5 or 11, because my foot is larger in width. I normally wear us 10.5 in sneakers.
Can you help me with this?

    Best regards
    Felipe

    • Dru says:

      Hey Felipe,

At your foot length and width, I would recommend going for the size 11.0′s in the X3′s. While Rollerblade skates do tend to accommodate wider feet a bit better than other brands, the Fusion series features a molded boot on the outside of the skate and will not provide as much give as other models. If you go with an 11.0 in any of the Fusion models you will have a skate that is comfortable yet snug, even after you break the liner in. I hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru

  25. Laura says:

    Hi,
I m looking for rollers for my daughter. she is 8 but very thin and small. They are the first pair she will have. Her size is 29 Europe. I think this spitfire TW is right. Is it okay to click in the 11-1 option ?
I’m looking for a three wheel pair.

    thank you
    Laura

    • Dru says:

      Hey Laura,
Yes the Spitfire TW’s would be a very good selection for your daughter. If you go with the 11 to 1 adjustable option (which she should fit into), it will come with only three wheels as well. I hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru

  26. James says:

Hi, My shoe size is US mens 12, what would my skate size be for the Fusion X7 in black?

    • Dru says:

      Hey James,

In a Rollerblade brand skate such as the Fusion, you would want to order as true to shoe size as possible. If you have a wider foot, than you might want to go up a half size as the molded boot of the Fusion series does not provide as much give as their soft boot models. Either way, I would recommend looking at the size 12.0 for your best fit. I hope this helps!

      Regards,
      Dru
